The Washington County Recycling Association is proud to offer up to five $1500 scholarships to high school seniors. To apply for the scholarship, students must be a resident of Washington County, have a cumulative GPA of 2.5, work at least 70 hours at the recycling center during their senior year and submit an essay. Seniors need to stop by the recycling center to get signed up for the scholarship. Their spot is reserved as soon as one volunteer hour has been worked. Seniors can start logging scholarship hours as soon as they have completed their junior year. Click below for an application that will be turned in upon completion of all requirements.
